• About Me
My name is Davina Green.  I am married with 3 children who range from 6 to 24 years old.  I am a fully certified and insured Hypno-psychotherapist and Holistic Doula.  A doula is a woman knowledgeable in pregnancy and birth who can give support and advice to a woman during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
I am an associate 3 member of the National Register of Hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists (NRHP)and of the National College Student and Alumni Guild (NCSAG). I am registered as a Doula with Expectancy, an expectant parent's complementary therapies consultancy.
In addition, I am a certified Hypno-fertility practitioner registered with Hypnofertility UK.
I have a general Hypnotherapy practice in Northwich and I combine this with providing specialist hypnotherapy and Doula Services (support) to pregnant, birthing and post-natal women.

• Relaxation Classes in pregnancy and the post-natal period
These classes are held at the Private Birth Centre in Northwich and use hypnotherapy to induce a wonderful relaxed state which is highly beneficial in pregnancy and after the birth.

• Hypnosis for pregnancy and birth (hypnobirthing)
Hypnosis training during pregnancy can prepare you for a wonderfully calm, memorable and relaxed birth.
My classes are provided in a variety of formats to suit individual needs and budgets. I run group sessions at the Private Birth Centre, Darwin Street, Northwich and individual sessions from my office in Chester Road in Northwich.

I also run specialist sessions on request for morning sickness, safely turning a breech baby, pregnancy phobia or anxiety and preparation for planned C-sections.

Hypnosis for pregnancy and birth ranges from £50 for a one-off session to £320 for a full private course

• Aromatherapy in pregnancy, birth and the post-natal period
I am trained to use a number of essential oils in massage, as a compress or an inhalation for a number of common complaints in pregnancy, birth and postnatally such as anxiety, depression, infections, aches and pain. Some oils can be used to increase the effectiveness and ease the pain of contractions in labour. Treatments can be delivered at the Private Birth Centre, Northwich, at my office in Northwich or in the client’s own home (mileage and travel chargeable over 10 miles)

£20 for a half hour session or £35 for a one hour session at the Birth centre or Clarity’s office

Home visits are charged at £35 for the first hour and £25 for subsequent hours in the same visit.

• Shiatsu in pregnancy, birth and the post-natal period
I am qualified to provided shiatsu treatments in pregnancy, birth and postnatally. It could be provided simply for relaxation, maybe to ease pain and augment contractions in labour or to ease a number of common pre- and postnatal complaints.

Treatments can be delivered at the Private Birth Centre, Northwich, at my office in Northwich or in the client’s own home (mileage and travel chargeable over 10 miles)

£20 for a half hour session or £35 for a one hour session at the Birth centre or Clarity’s office

• Reflexology in pregnancy, birth and the post-natal period
I am trained to provide a relaxing an safe reflexology foot massage with or without essential oils in pregnancy, during birth or the postnatal period.

• Homeopathy and Bach Flower Remedies in pregnancy, birth and the post-natal period
I can provide simple homeopathic and Bach Flower Remedies for emotional and physical ailments in pregnancy.

£20 for a consultation including remedies

• Postnatal support
Emotional and practical support can be provided in the home after baby has been born to allow mum to get a little rest or to help establish breast feeding.  A Doula can provide help and advice if Mum has any specific worries or feels generally anxious about the baby or other family members. Sometimes all a mum with a new baby needs is an understanding, empathic ear.

Support in the home is provided at £35 for the first hour and £25 per hour thereafter in the same visit.  Where several visits are required, a discounted rate may be arranged.
